Four Things to Learn Before Your First Lobby
How the Climb Actually Works
Everyone starts the same route at the same time and every car is a solid object. That single rule is why bridging, boosting and betraying all use the same controls.
Every Map So Far
The launch mountain, then Port Babel's floodlit harbour and Neon Junction's 1000-metre neon city. What each course demands and where crews usually lose it.
Throttle, Momentum, Gravity
Too little speed and you slide back down. Too much and you sail over the platform. The near-vertical ramps are a throttle test, not a steering test.
Running an 8-Player Lobby
Every player needs their own copy. Invites go out from inside the game. What to do when someone is stuck upside down in a pipe at 900 metres.

What is Drive UP: Together?
Drive UP: Together is a co-op climbing game built on a real driving simulation. Up to eight friends take the same vertical course at once, over planks barely wider than an axle, through the insides of giant pipes, and up ramps steep enough that stopping halfway is not an option. Because every car is a solid object, you can park across a gap to become a bridge, shove a friend up a ramp they cannot clear alone, or knock them off one wheel short of the summit.
It entered Steam Early Access on October 26, 2026 at $5.99, with a free demo that deliberately stops at a random height. Since launch the developers have added two maps: Port Babel, a night harbour of cranes and stacked containers, and Neon Junction, a synthwave city climbing to a 1000-metre finish, along with the Bomb Tag and Sky Sumo minigames. Early Access is planned to run about a year, with the price rising slightly at full release.

Drive UP Together Guide
Start here: what an 8-car lobby actually demands, the order to learn the mountain, and the mistakes that end a climb 50 metres from the finish.
Drive UP Together Controls
Throttle, brake, weight transfer. Why the near-vertical ramps are a throttle test rather than a steering test, and where the handling model will betray you.
Drive UP Together Multiplayer
Running a lobby for up to eight friends: invites from inside the game, what happens when someone lands on their roof, and why every player needs a copy.
Drive UP Together Maps
Three courses so far: the launch mountain, Port Babel's floodlit harbour, and Neon Junction's 1000-metre synthwave city. What each one demands.
Drive UP Together Demo
The free demo deliberately cuts you off at a random height. What carries over, what the full game adds, and why the demo is a handling lesson, not a map preview.
Drive UP Together Price
Early Access pricing, what it includes, and the plan to raise the price slightly at full release. Console versions have not been announced.
Drive UP Together Climbing
Momentum is the whole game. How to read a ramp, when to bridge a gap with your own car, and how to recover after the inevitable fall.
Drive UP Together Minigames
Bomb Tag and Sky Sumo arrived with Neon Junction. What they are, when to play them instead of climbing, and how they change a lobby's mood.
